What happens when the mind is absent?
At what point does the body become a container?
At what point does the body become a container?
I constantly question the real permanence of the subject in space––there are physical presences in which I perceive the absence of the mind and only find bodies lost in an internal universe.
Through constructed photography and the use of light, I seek to emphasize the expressions of the people to create a narrative that speaks about the context of the subject, its loneliness, introspection, anguish, nostalgia or melancholy that is reflected in each image when they are "absent"; immersed in their own thoughts.
